The Talaria display will not take 72v and therefore must be removed or will be damage. This means the bike will be naturally in full power. However using the KO Android app and mounted on the handlebars, power can be changed in seconds and battery voltage displayed (so you know how much battery you have left). Install a speedometer app and you can see your speed too. KO state they are working on their own display a, but have not given a release date. We bought a cheap phone from a large supermarket chain (Txxxo) without a sim, set it up on wireless and use it as bike display as it connects to the controller via blue tooth – works great.

Swap out to this KO controller and set you DC line voltage to 200A DC and phase max at 560A. Have a safe and genuine fast bike that will give heaps of range and fun. The battery is very similar design as its fast 72v brother, but using a different cell and configuration to give maximum range without being crazy tall. We have given this battery a huge range. Perfect for trail riding or long distance commuting.

Talaria – Battery 20s10P 72v Molicell P42A 21700 cell (4200 mAh per cell), with Fully monitoring (charge and discharge) BMS. Battery designed to fit inside the Talaria battery compartment utilizing the existing battery tray. The Cells are genuine branded cells specifically designed for large capacity storage and reliability. Other inferior cells used in cheaper packs simply can’t deliver like these. If you think the cost is high, these batteries have 208 cells that retail in the UK for around £9.5 each! not including: BMS, fabrication and shipping taxes.
The whole battery is fitted in hand made stainless steel case designed to handle those inevitable and hopefully not painful “Offs” with hard off road rides and giving masses more protection. The casing is powder coated inside and out.
The battery does not have an integrated volt meter. We supply a handlebar voltmeter and can be simply plugged into the charge port of the battery to show voltage (empty at 58V). However we recommend install an Android phone on your handlebars (we see a cheap Android phone from a well know super market and set up on wireless so no need for a sim card)
Talaria bikes must remove the standard displays the 72v system will damage it.
To reduce rattles and vibration, we include a small amount of high density foam to be placed in the top of the battery compartment – Please see photos

When connecting the battery to the bike and to avoid a spark. Turn the red trip switch on the bike to off.
Charging: First time charging is VERY important. Always connect the charger to the battery with the charger powered up from the mains. This will stop a “Connection Spark”. The battery needs a “Balance Charge” on first charge. Please charge for 12 hours first time.
Please note, Lithium batteries are considered hazardous and due care and attention should be taken. Although these cells are in wide use, and professionally manufactured in a purpose built factory; because of the power of the battery, we strongly recommend that precautions are taken. We do not recommend charging inside the family home and charging should be supervised. We take no responsibility for misuse. These batteries are thoroughly tested (full discharge and charge cycles at the manufacturing stage and also pre-delivery). These are not DIY or amateur built devices. CHARGER INCLUDED
Fitting Services (highly recommended)
We now offer a fitting service in different location around the county. Each location has different working patterns. Generally the bike will need to be dropped of at prior arrangement and collect one working week later. but must include a full weekend in between. Price £200 through the website of £200 direct to fitter and not included with the original controller purchase.

Our warranty is limited to 12 months for battery and 6 months for controller from time of purchase. Due to the use and the nature of this device (Off-Road) and the potential excess exposure to: water, rain, mud and the possibility to sustained high powered use/abuse, we do not warranty controllers that show signs of damage, excess heat or water penetration. All devices are fully bench tested working with a full working motor before leaving our premises. Any damage caused by your installation is not covered by our warranty. alteration may void warranty. This includes shortening of cables and changing connectors. We highly recommend the use of one of recognized fitters where installation is fully covered.
Warranties are not transferable.
We reserve the right to slightly modify or change this product without notice.
