Why buy this kit? to put simply it allows you to use MUCH more power without the worry of overheating the motor like the standard. In fact it handles so much power, that its best to turn it down a bit!
The bike uses the original power button for Eco and Sport. Eco is now set up for a controllable but very fast 14500Watts (we set our ASI ASI BAC8000 at 13700W for OEM motor and the KO Motor can take even more crazy power). This is enough power to: light up the back wheel, power slide out of berm and basically be faster than nearly any other known electric bike we have ever ridden (this bike destroyed a Cake and Storm Bee. KTM Freeride and EVERY OTHER BIKE). The power to weight is phenomenal, but still controllable. HOWEVER, when the passing place appears, or there’s a long straight or monster jump, the bike is already rolling at good speed and you absolutely have to destroy every other bike in the park, you hit the: funny button, the nutcase button, sometime also known as the “Sport” button. Time stands still, the nearest Cake or Storm bikes, start to go backwards and your future suddenly appear right in front of your eyes. yes this is the full power mode
Controller is plug and play fitting into the original mountings and wiring loom. A base map is installed and can then be altered to your power requirements though the mobile phone apps or via your PC. We find the mobile apps much easier to connect. Your Sport/Eco mode will give you two choices of power.
Motor (RS Version) obviously needs swapping out with the original. We highly recommend for road use upgrading your original primary belt for an upgrade GT4 or for off road use consider a chain drive (much nosier but much more resistant to debris). We stock the blue and red version of the motor and controller.

Battery recommendations (battery not included)
Big power needs big batteries. Battery discharge power is NOT measured in Ah but in Amps (A)
Not all batteries can give the same amount of amps.
Our original batteries were designed for the original Sur Ron Motor and not designed for the super high power the KO motor can take, and take that power for much longer time spans. Most UK available batteries are good for around 170Amps discharge. Our 72v 42Ah Race & 46Ah Dominator we recommend for 190A (13680watts) Max power. Our Konig (KO specific battery) we recommend 300A (21600Watts) although can still burst much higher. NO mechanical device is designed to be held a maximum for long periods.
Fitting Services (highly recommended)
We now offer a fitting service in different location around the county.
Each location has different working patterns.
Generally the bike will need to be dropped of at prior arrangement and collect one working week later. but must include a full weekend in between.

Our warranty is limited to 6 months from time of purchase. Due to the use and the nature of this device (Off-Road) and the potential excess exposure to: water, rain, mud and the possibility to sustained high powered use/abuse, we do not warranty controllers that show signs of damage, excess heat or water penetration. All devices are fully bench tested working with a full working motor before leaving our premises. Any damage caused by your installation is not covered by our warranty. alteration may void warranty. This includes shortening of cables and changing connectors. We highly recommend the use of one of recognized fitters where installation is fully covered.
Warranties are not transferable.
We reserve the right to slightly modify or change this product without notice.
