The Sur Ron display will allow two power modes and give speed
However using the KO Android app and mounted on the handlebars, power can be changed in seconds and battery voltage displayed (so you know how much battery you have left). Install a speedometer app and you can see your speed too. KO state they are working on their own display, but have not given a release date. We bought a cheap phone from a large supermarket chain without a sim, set it up on wireless and use it as a bike display as it connects to the controller via blue tooth – works great.

Swap out to this KO controller and set your DC line voltage to 200A DC and phase max at 480A. Have a safe and genuine fast bike that will give heaps of range and fun. The battery is very similar in design to its fast 72v brother, but using a different cell and configuration to give maximum range without being crazy tall. We have given this battery a huge range. Perfect for trail riding or long distance) commuting.

Sur Ron – Battery 20s10P 72v Molicell P42A 21700 cell (4200 mAh per cell), with fully monitoring (charge and discharge) BMS. Battery designed to fit inside the Sur Ron battery compartment utilizing the existing battery tray. The cells are genuine branded cells specifically designed for large capacity storage and reliability. Other inferior cells used in cheaper packs simply can’t deliver like these. If you think the cost is high, these batteries have 208 cells that retail in the UK for around £8 each! not including: BMS, fabrication and shipping taxes.
The whole battery is fitted inside a hand made stainless steel case designed to handle those inevitable and hopefully not painful “Offs” with hard off road rides and giving masses more protection. The casing is powder coated inside and out.
The battery does not have an integrated volt meter. We supply a handlebar voltmeter and can be simply plugged into the charge port of the battery to show voltage (empty at 58V). However, we recommend installing an Android phone on your handlebars (we bought a cheap Android phone from a well know super market and set it up on wireless so no need for a sim card)

Please ALSO note, these are genuine new cells and made up into complete battery specially designed by us, built at our oversees factory or here in the UK by our dedicated battery builders. We simply can’t buy a single battery, Thanks to Paypal fees, shipping and taxes the mark-up is minimal!
When connecting the battery to the bike and to avoid a spark – turn the red trip switch on the bike to off.
Charging: First time charging is VERY important. Always connect the charger to the battery with the charger powered up from the mains. This will stop a “Connection Spark”. The battery needs a “Balance Charge” on first charge. Please charge for 12 hours first time.
Please note, Lithium batteries are considered hazardous and due care and attention should be taken. Although these cells are in wide use, and professionally manufactured in a purpose built factory; because of the power of the battery, we strongly recommend that precautions are taken. We do not recommend charging inside the family home and charging should be supervised. We take no responsibility for misuse. These batteries are thoroughly tested (full discharge and charge cycles at the manufacturing stage and also pre-delivery). These are not DIY or amateur built devices.

Our warranty is limited to 12 months of r battery and 6 months for the controller from time of purchase for manufacturing faults only. Due to the use and the nature of this device (Off-Road) and the potential excess exposure to: water, rain, mud and the possibility to sustained high powered use/abuse, we do not warranty controllers that show signs of damage, excess heat or water penetration. All devices are fully bench tested working with a full working motor before leaving our premises. Any damage caused by your installation is not covered by our warranty. alteration may void warranty. This includes shortening of cables and changing connectors. We highly recommend the use of one of recognized fitters where installation is fully covered.
Warranties are not transferable.
We reserve the right to slightly modify or change this product without notice.
