EBMX controlers have a huge in rush of power that can ofetn trip a battery BMS, as it thinks there is a shrt circuit.
These QS8 power cable is anti spark as when the connector is puched slowly together, it sends a small amount of power through its first stage of connection (If you look inothe connector, you can see that boththe female plugs have two rings.. This precharges the controler slighlty, so then when fully pushed home. the mainpower from the battery is delivered withouit a full “In Rush” and stops the BMS from tripping.
You will notice that our 72v Dominator batteries come with two discharge cables. This is to “parallel” the output power and share the load. The power from the battery to the controller is known as Direct Current “DC” discharge, which can create heat at full power. Having two cables shares this power and vastly reduces the heat created. Power from the controller to the motor is known as Phase Current, where the power flicks on and off very fast in phases, which creates less heat. If using the battery at full power, we highly recommend using the extra set of discharge cables provided and running your set up with two discharge leads from the battery to controller (extra lead provided on solo battery purchases, or already attached to the controller on full kit purchases: battery + controller).

Supplied with upgraded high power AWG 6 silicon cable.
One end with the ring terminals bolts direct to your controller :
Red: positive
Black: negative.
The other end with the QS8 connector goes straight into the battery.
