These are standard motors with stadard pas and do not take 52V (14 s) batteries

 BBSHD Mid Drive kit is light but strong and unprecedented levels of engineering (Rated 1000W – 1500W dependent on setting and  have a proven to work reliably at 2500Watts) and Max Torque 160 NM) More efficient than HUB motors giving greater distance and response. This mid drive provides powerful ebike performance meanwhile keeps the original pedaling in comfort. With an integrated speed sensor, this mid-drive motor is compatible with standard bikes. Throttle only use in PAS mode “0” is available allowing to rest without pedaling and a further 9 levels available with “on the fly” switching.

These motors are regarded as the very best in the EBike world. Extremely quiet and robust. Fully waterproof and internally lubricated within sealed casings. There have been recorded distances of 25000 miles and still going!

This motor is designed to fit bikes with a Bottom Bracket between 68 mm to 73 mm

This is the ONLY chain wheel size and offset that we recommend. If the chain wheel is smaller, it will not come inboard and the chain line will be too far “off board” causing alignment issues. If you use a bigger chain wheel, you will over burden the motor. The BBSHD has a maximum of 160RPM. Use a cadence calculator and you can see how fast this would be if you could use all your gears and had enough power – a minimum of 55MPH. This is not attainable with a standard motor and will either burn out your motor or your battery BMS will trip. (we have tried and tested every size and shape you can think of)

You need this smaller chain wheel, to help the motor for higher torque, (getting up steep hills., acceleration)
